NCAA Hall of Champions® - 100 Years, 100 Hours
Location: NCAA Hall of Champions, West and Washington Street
Cost: Adults $3, Students $2
Hours:24 hours beginning Friday, March 31 at 10 a.m. through Tuesday, April 4 at 5 p.m.
Description: What can you do at a sports museum all night long? The NCAA Hall of Champions will be open 100 Consecutive hours during the Men's Final Four with special activities related to the Men's and Women's Final Fours. YES® Clinics fueled by POWERade®
Locations: Butler University, University of Indianapolis, Municipal Gardens Park and Washington Park
Cost: Free admission. Participants must be between 10-18 years of age and pre-registered. Visit www.YESclinics.org for more information. Parents/Guardians session also available.
Hours: 8 a.m. - Noon.
Description: Connect with other youth athletes and receive fundamental sports instruction from collegiate coaches and student-athletes.

Circle City Dribble
Location: White River State Park (near NCAA headquarters).
Cost: Free
Time: 12:30 p.m. (gates open at 10 a.m.)
Description: Basketball fans will have the opportunity to dribble through the streets of downtown Indianapolis. The first 3,000 participants under the age of 18, to register for the Circle City Dribble will receive a free basketball and t-shirt courtesy of the NCAA® and POWERade®. Children wearing the Circle City Dribble t-shirt will also receive free admission to NCAA Hoop-City® and the NCAA Hall of Champions®, Sunday, April 2 only. My Coke® Fest
Location: Monument Circle
Cost: Free
Time: 2-9 p.m.
Description: Attend a FREE concert and experiential event during the Sunday of Final Four weekend. The concert will feature top national talent. While at the festival, you can sample Coca-Cola® beverages and enjoy the rivalry and excitement of the Final Four.

Description: "Indy Monday" gives fans an opportunity to discover Indianapolis and the many culutural attractions that call the City home. From the most famous 21/2 mile oval in the country, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, to the NCAA Hall of Champions and the vast array of attractions in The Canal and White River State Park (Eitlejorg Museum, Indianapolis Zoo, Indiana State Museum), to the world's largest Children's Museum and the new Indianapolis Museum of Art, there is something to interest every fan in town for the games. Take a self guided tour of Mass Ave., Indiana Avenue and the Wholesale District.

When Will The Teams Be Chosen For The 2006 Championships?
CBS will televise the men's selection show at 6 p.m. (ET) on Sunday, March 12. Beginning with the 2006 championship, the women’s selection show moves to Mondays. ESPN will televise the women’s selection show Monday, March 13 at 7 p.m. (ET).

NCAAsports.com will have brackets up immediately after the selections are announced. Game times will be announced shortly thereafter.

What Are The Game Times For The Men's And Women's Final Fours?
The first men's national semifinal on Saturday, April 1 will begin at approximately 6:07 p.m. (ET). Time buffer between games is 40 minutes. The men's national championship game will air at approximately 9:21 p.m. (ET) on Monday, April 3. The first women's national semifinal will begin at 7 p.m. (ET) on Sunday, April 2. Time buffer between games is 30 minutes. The women's national championship game will air at 8:30 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday, April 4.

How Do I Purchase Tickets To Next Year's Final Four?
The general public applications for the 2007 Men’s and Women’s Final Fours will be available online at www.ncaasports.com beginning Sunday, March 12. Ticket sales for preliminary-round sites (first and second rounds and regionals) will begin in March 2006. Keep an eye on www.NCAAsports.com for more details.

 

Why 65 Teams In The Men's Tournament?
In 2001, the men's tournament field expanded because 31 conferences received automatic bids. The committee selects at 34 at-large teams. The two teams seeded 64 and 65 play in an "opening round" game the Tuesday before the first-round games. The winner of this game moves into the championship bracket as a No. 16 seed.
